Dr. DeCook is originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan. She attended Ferris State University for undergraduate degree, and in 2019 obtained her doctorate in optometry from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State. Dr. DeCook completed a specialized residency in Pediatrics and Binocular Vision at the IU School of Optometry. During her residency, she travelled to Jamaica with See Better Learn Better to provide eye exams to elementary school children. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
In her free time, Dr. DeCook enjoys baking, crafting, and spending time with her husband and their pomeranian. She does not miss Michigan winters.
