Online Payment – For your convenience, we now offer payment via a Paywoot text-to- pay link. You will receive a link once your vision care plan and/or medical insurance have been filed. The text message will not come from Plainfield Eye Care’s office phone number.
If we have an email on file for you, you will also receive an email with a link to make payment and access your detailed statement. The email will come from, donotreply_plainfieldeyecare@paywoot.com and the subject will be Your Bill From Plainfield Eye Care.
With both electronic payment options, you will be prompted to create a login for Paywoot. This will allow you to view your most recent detailed statement and also make elections on how you wish to receive future statements.
Helpful Additional Information:
Refraction – This test is done to determine your glasses prescription. If your visit was filed under medical insurance, it is generally not a covered service. If you have a vision care discount plan, like VSP, we can sometimes coordinate benefits to cover the refraction fee, dependent on the restrictions of your individual plan(s).
Copayments – We always try to obtain as much information as possible in advance of your appointment, however, published information may differ from actual charges by your insurance company. If you have specific questions, let us know.
Out-of-Network – You are always welcome to be seen at our office even if your plan is not accepted here. In many cases, you can be reimbursed for some of the fees by filing an out-of-network claim. We can help with the process.
